I am a postdoctoral fellow in Prof. Li Zhaoping’s group in the Department of Sensory and Sensorimotor Systems at the Max-Planck-Institute for Biological Cybernetics and the Werner Reichardt Centre for Integrative Neuroscience at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen. My research combines the usage of mathematical models, theory and psychophysics to study the mechanisms of human visual cognition.
I obtained my B.Sc. in Mathematics in 2015 and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics in 2020, at the Sun Yat-sen University (Guangzhou, China). During my PhD, I investigated the nonlinear and stochastic dynamics of complex systems, with applications in network science. From 2018 to 2021, I worked as a research assistant (and postdoc after 09.2021) in the Centre of Nonlinear Studies in the Department of Physics in Hong Kong Baptist University, where I studied the statistical physics and nonlinear dynamics of neural systems.
